R.E.P.O.’s next update is bringing a brand-new level: The Museum. Based on what we’ve seen so far, this place is shaping up to be a mix of high-stakes looting, precarious parkour, and enemies that have no respect for priceless artifacts. Here’s everything we know so far about the new map.

The Museum – What to Expect
1. A Vertical Nightmare
If you’re afraid of heights, well… tough luck. The Museum is stacked with thin walkways, upper levels, and gaps big enough to test your faith in the jump button.
Parkour seems unavoidable – Unlike other maps, where movement is mostly about dodging, The Museum looks like it’ll require some actual platforming skills.
Loot placement will be tricky – High-value artifacts could be perched in awkward locations, meaning one wrong step sends them (or you) into oblivion.
There’s a high chance of watching teammates fall – Whether by accident or “accident,” we’ll let you decide.
2. Enemies in Unexpected Places
It’s a museum, which means creepy statues, mannequins, or displays could very well turn out to be not just displays.
We don’t know exactly what’s lurking, but something is – The devs have teased new enemies hiding behind exhibits.
Breaking things might be a problem – Whether it’s you or the monsters, expect valuable loot to be at risk.
Tight spaces might make escaping harder – Good luck running when there’s a priceless sculpture in your way.
What This Means for Players
Master your movement – Rushing will just get you (or your loot) killed.
Expect to get ambushed – If something looks suspicious, it probably is.
What We’re Still Waiting to Find Out
Are there any new tools or upgrades to help with movement?
Will enemies be avoidable, or do we have to fight them?
Is there anything special about this map, like a unique mechanic or hazard?
Final Blurb
The Museum is shaping up to be one of R.E.P.O.’s most technical maps yet, with tighter spaces, higher risks, and more opportunities for disaster. If you’ve spent most of the game stumbling around without thinking, now might be the time to practice your parkour—otherwise, expect a lot of falling and frustration.
