R.E.P.O. Duct Tape Grenade Guide

If regular explosions just aren’t cutting it in R.E.P.O., the Duct Tape Grenade is here to turn things up several notches and probably blow the roof off in the process. It's a homemade monstrosity that’s exactly what it sounds like: four or five grenades duct-taped together for maximum chaos.

Here's how to get the Duct Tape Grenade, what it does, and how to make the most of it before you explode yourself by accident.

What Is the Duct Tape Grenade?

  • Cost: $2,000

  • Location: Secret Shop Room ONLY

  • Effect: Multiple explosions from 4–5 Human Grenades tied together. Think of it as the “go big or go home” option for blowing up enemies—or, if you're careless, yourself.

How to Get the Duct Tape Grenade

You won’t find this at any normal vendor. Like all good things in R.E.P.O., the Duct Tape Grenade is hidden away in the Secret Shop Room. To get there:

  1. Explore off-path areas or complete hidden objectives—secret rooms don’t announce themselves.

  2. Watch for strange wall markings, vents, or locked doors that lead to off-limits areas.

  3. Once inside the Secret Shop Room, you can purchase the Duct Tape Grenade for $2,000.

How to Use It Without Blowing Yourself Up

  • Toss it carefully—the blast radius is way bigger than a regular grenade.

  • Best used in tight enemy clusters or against bosses for massive burst damage.

  • Avoid using it indoors... unless you enjoy ragdoll physics and restarting checkpoints.

Final Blurb

The Duct Tape Grenade in R.E.P.O. is loud, deadly, and incredibly satisfying—basically a grenade with anger issues. If you find the Secret Shop Room, grab one and let your enemies experience four explosions for the price of one. Just aim wisely… duct tape doesn’t fix blown-up players.
