R.E.P.O. How to Leave the Game

So, you’ve looted everything, the truck won’t let you leave, and now you’re stuck in corporate limbo with no way to meet quota. Welcome to R.E.P.O., where failure is just another day on the job.

Can You Leave the Game, Even If You’re Out of Items?

Short answer: Nope. You’re stuck.

Longer answer: You fail the run, and your only option is to start over. R.E.P.O. is a roguelike, which means if you can’t complete your quota, you restart from scratch—no easy exits, no quitting while you're ahead. The fastest way to leave is to just make a new game.

Your (Limited) Options:

  • Run out the clock. If you wait long enough, the game will eventually fail you automatically. Not exactly a dignified exit, but at least you don’t have to do anything.

  • Get eaten. If there are still monsters roaming around, let them do their job for once. It’s faster than waiting for the timer.

  • Smash everything. If you’re playing with friends, consider embracing chaos. If you can’t win, at least you can make sure nobody else does either.

  • Make a new game. The quickest way out is to quit and restart, which is probably what the devs intended when they designed this unforgiving corporate hellscape.

In short, if you’re out of items and can’t meet your quota, your run is over—whether you accept it gracefully or go out in a blaze of stolen office furniture and bad decisions is up to you.
