Pure Odyle is a higher-grade form of Odyle used in AION 2 crafting, including recipes that can require considerably more of it than you naturally collect while leveling. How to Get Pure Odyle in AION 2

Pure Odyle can be obtained by gathering regular Odyle nodes, with each successful extraction having a chance to produce a higher-grade version of the material. Pure Odyle is the third quality in the Odyle chain: Odyle, Fine Odyle, Pure Odyle, and Radiant Odyle.

You can also obtain Pure Odyle through certain quests and the Shugo Festival, while the Market provides the fastest alternative if other players are selling it at a reasonable price.

Best method: Gather as many Odyle nodes as possible while investing in Odyle Appraiser. There is no separate Pure Odyle gathering node you need to find.

Farm Pure Odyle From Gathering

The most repeatable way to get Pure Odyle is through Essence Extraction. Odyle appears as floating gathering nodes in the air rather than on the ground, so you need to fly to the node and interact with it to begin gathering.

A successful gather does not always give the basic version of the material. Odyle nodes can produce Odyle, Fine Odyle, Pure Odyle, or Radiant Odyle, which is why repeatedly gathering normal Odyle is still the correct way to farm Pure Odyle.

If you are gathering node after node and only seeing Odyle or Fine Odyle, you are not using the wrong resource. Pure Odyle is simply one of the higher-grade results from the same gathering family.

Gathering also consumes Wing Energy because you remain airborne during the extraction. Avoid starting a node when your flight bar is nearly empty, as running out of Wing Energy can interrupt the attempt before you finish.

How to Increase Your Chance of Getting Pure Odyle

Odyle Appraiser is the most important Essence Extraction skill if Pure Odyle is your specific goal.

When an extraction succeeds, Odyle Appraiser gives the gathered material another opportunity to roll at a higher grade if a better-quality result has not already been obtained. Its activation chance increases as you upgrade the skill, reaching 30% at Level 3.

This makes it more useful for Pure Odyle farming than simply increasing the total number of basic materials you gather.

Plentiful Harvest is still valuable because it can double the quantity received from a successful extraction, with its chance increasing from 10% to 30% across its three levels. However, if your bottleneck is specifically Pure Odyle rather than total Odyle, I would prioritize the quality-focused Appraiser upgrades first.

General Essence Extraction skills can help as well. Proficient Handling improves Success Gauge gains, Delicate Touch reduces Failure Gauge penalties, and Lady Luck can rescue an extraction that is getting close to failing. These do not directly increase Pure Odyle rarity, but they reduce the number of nodes you lose entirely.

Where to Farm Odyle for Pure Odyle

Odyle nodes can be found in Verteron, Altgard, and Chaotic Lower Reshanta. The nodes float above the landscape, with good places to check including the airspace around settlements, camps, cities, and other major points of interest.

Rather than flying aimlessly across an entire region, move between known populated areas and scan above them for Odyle before continuing to the next location.

Odyle Seeker makes this considerably easier once unlocked because it reveals nearby Odyle nodes on your minimap. If you plan to gather Pure Odyle yourself instead of buying it, this is one of the strongest quality-of-life upgrades you can take.

A good farming setup therefore combines Odyle Seeker to locate nodes with Odyle Appraiser to improve your chances of higher-grade results. Once you know several productive areas, rotate between them instead of searching randomly.

Other Ways to Get Pure Odyle

Gathering is not the only source of Pure Odyle. It also appears as a reward from quests and from the Shugo Festival.

These sources are useful supplemental income, particularly if you are already completing the associated content, but they are less controllable than repeatedly farming Odyle nodes when you need a specific amount for crafting.

That also explains why players sometimes discover Pure Odyle in their inventory without remembering gathering it directly. Quest and activity rewards can add Pure Odyle naturally while you are playing other parts of the game.

Should You Buy Pure Odyle From the Market?

If you only need a small amount of Pure Odyle to finish a recipe, check the Market before committing to a long gathering session.

Pure Odyle prices vary dramatically between servers, so there is no single price that makes buying automatically better than farming. On some servers it can be inexpensive enough that a normal source of Kina easily covers several pieces, while on others individual Pure Odyle listings can cost substantially more.

For a small crafting shortage, buying the remaining pieces can therefore be the quickest solution. For larger quantities, or on a server where Pure Odyle is expensive or rarely listed, gathering Odyle yourself with Odyle Appraiser becomes much more attractive.

The important part is not to search for a special Pure Odyle node or try to convert Fine Odyle through an unrelated system. Farm regular Odyle, improve the gathering skills that affect quality, and use quests, Shugo Festival rewards, or the Market to fill whatever remains.
