Aniimo How to Evolve
Evolution is one of the main ways your collection develops in Aniimo, but the game doesn't put a giant Evolve button on the normal creature screen. Even after finding the right menu, you may discover that one Aniimo needs levels, another needs additional materials, or that the evolution isn't available yet at all.
The easiest way to handle the system is to stop treating evolution as one universal level requirement. Each Aniimo can have its own checklist, and the Evolution screen itself tells you what still needs to be completed.

How to Evolve Aniimo
To evolve an Aniimo, open the main menu and enter Aniimo Management. Select the creature you want to evolve, then look near the bottom-right portion of its management screen for the small cat-shaped Evolve icon located beside the Level Up option.
Selecting that icon opens the dedicated Evolution page. This is where I'd stop before immediately looking for the final Evolve button, because the upper-right portion of this screen shows the requirements for the evolution you're currently trying to perform.
Once every listed requirement has been satisfied, use the Evolve option in the bottom-right corner to complete the evolution.
If you've been searching through your inventory for an evolution item you can directly activate, that's the wrong side of the system. Start from the Aniimo you want to evolve and let its Evolution page tell you what that creature needs.
How to Check Evolution Requirements in Aniimo
The Evolution page doubles as a checklist, which makes it one of the more useful parts of the system. Select an Aniimo, open its Evolve screen, and look at the requirements displayed in the upper-right corner.
I would check this before deliberately farming anything. Evolution requirements aren't identical across the roster, so knowing that one creature needed a certain level or material doesn't mean the next Aniimo will follow the same rule.
This also gives you a much cleaner progression loop. Find the Aniimo you eventually want to evolve, inspect its actual requirements, and then work backward from what's missing. If the required level is the blocker, keep leveling it. If the level is already satisfied but a required material isn't, you now know exactly what you're farming for.
That's more efficient than stockpiling evolution materials first and hoping they'll be useful for whatever you decide to raise later.
Why Can't I Evolve My Aniimo?
If the evolution isn't available, the first thing I'd check is the requirements panel rather than assuming something is wrong with the game. You cannot complete an evolution while its listed conditions are still unmet.
There's a useful distinction between two problems here. If you can reach the Evolution page but can't finish the evolution, inspect its requirements for the missing condition. If you're specifically working with Helion or Lunara and the normal evolution option isn't behaving like it does for other Aniimo, that's a separate story-progression restriction rather than evidence that you're missing a random evolution stone.
I'd also make sure you're looking in Aniimo Management rather than expecting evolution to happen automatically when a creature reaches a particular level. Reaching a requirement makes the evolution possible; you still need to return to the Evolution page and perform it yourself.
Evolution Levels and Materials Are Different for Each Aniimo
There isn't one magic level where every Aniimo evolves. Some evolution paths combine a level requirement with specific materials, and multi-stage evolution lines can change the requirements again at the next stage.
Glacy's evolution line is a good example. Skippy can first evolve into Pranky at level 12. Pranky can later become Glacy at level 20 with three Wave Stones. Turbo follows a different path, evolving from Nimbi at level 21 with three Gust Stones.
That difference is why I'd avoid approaching Aniimo like a creature-collector where memorizing one standard evolution level solves most of the roster. Even within the same collection, you can have different levels, different stones, and additional stages to account for.
It also means the real question isn't usually “what level do Aniimo evolve?” It's “what does this Aniimo need for its next evolution?” The Evolution page is built to answer exactly that question.
If you're planning a future team, I would check those requirements before investing heavily in several evolution projects at once. A creature that is one level away from evolving may be a much faster power upgrade than another whose next form still requires both progression and materials you don't have.
Can Helion and Lunara Evolve?
Helion and Lunara are exceptions to the normal early evolution flow. Their evolution is restricted until you reach the required point in the main story, so don't spend time searching for a missing stone simply because the regular Evolve option isn't available yet.
This is particularly worth knowing because one of them will be your first Guardian. Their story restriction doesn't mean you chose incorrectly or that your starter can't progress; it means you need to continue the campaign before reaching that part of its progression.
If you're still deciding between the two, my Aniimo best starter guide breaks down why I prefer Lunara overall and when Helion is the better choice.
For everything else, I'd use the same evolution routine throughout Aniimo: choose the creature first, open its Evolution page second, and only then start chasing whatever level or materials it says you're missing. That turns evolution from a guessing game into a straightforward checklist and prevents you from farming resources for a requirement your Aniimo may not even have.
