NASCAR 26 Achievements Guide

NASCAR 26 has 17 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore, and most of the list is tied directly to Career progression. That makes the achievement route much cleaner than a game filled with obscure one-off challenges, but there is one thing I'd plan around from the beginning: finishing the four series championships isn't the end of the grind. Seasoned Veteran requires 10 completed Career seasons, so the fastest path to 100% is to stack every championship and season milestone naturally before worrying about the smaller cleanup achievements.

NASCAR 26 Achievement Roadmap

The cleanest route is to make Career Mode do as much work as possible. Create your driver, start progressing normally, win races along the way, finish each full series season, and push for the championship whenever you're in contention. That lets the race wins, season completions, championships, and long-term Career milestones build on top of each other instead of treating them as separate achievement grinds.

Best Achievement Route
Create your driver → Win in Career → Finish the ARCA season → Win the ARCA championship → Complete the Truck season and championship → Do the same in O'Reilly → Complete and win Cup → Continue Career until 10 total seasons → Complete a 100% length race → Finish and win a Multiplayer race

The important part is that the four championship achievements are not the final Career hurdle. Winning Cup gives you Ultimate Champion, but Seasoned Veteran still asks for 10 completed Career seasons. I would therefore avoid mentally treating the Cup title as the end of the save if you're going for all 1,000 Gamerscore.

If you're still learning the game while doing this, our NASCAR 26 tips and tricks guide covers dynamic tracks, AI difficulty, braking, Career pace, and how to use Peak Performance without becoming dependent on the suggested racing line.

Most NASCAR 26 Achievements Come From Career Mode

Career is where the achievement list does most of its stacking. There are separate achievements for finishing a full season in each of the four major series, another four for winning those championships, three more for reaching one, five, and ten completed Career seasons, and another for winning your first Career race.

That means a strong Career year can advance several achievements simultaneously. Winning races helps your championship run, finishing the schedule earns the series completion achievement, and every finished year also moves First of Many, Established Pro, and Seasoned Veteran forward.

I would prioritize consistency over trying to force every race win. The championship achievements only care about the final title, while the Career-season achievements care about finishing seasons. Throwing away an otherwise healthy season because one race went badly is more likely to slow the overall completion than help it.

ARCA Racer
50 Gamerscore
Complete a full Menard's ARCA Series season in Career.

Champion of ARCA
75 Gamerscore
Win a Menard's ARCA Series championship in Career.

The obvious efficiency play is to target both during the same ARCA season. You have to finish the full season for ARCA Racer anyway, so there's little reason not to make the championship your goal while doing it.

Racer of Trucks
50 Gamerscore
Complete a full NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season in Career.

Champion of Trucks
75 Gamerscore
Win a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship in Career.

The Truck achievements follow the same pattern. Finish the year for the guaranteed season-completion milestone and treat the championship as the second objective rather than creating a separate grind later.

O'Reilly Auto Parts Racer
50 Gamerscore
Complete a full NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season in Career.

Champion of O'Reilly Auto Parts
75 Gamerscore
Win a NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series championship in Career.

This is another natural pair. The important achievement-routing idea remains the same: don't think in terms of 17 isolated objectives. Think in terms of one long Career that happens to trigger a bunch of them on the way.

Cup Racer
50 Gamerscore
Complete a full NASCAR Cup Series season in Career.

Ultimate Champion
100 Gamerscore
Win a NASCAR Cup Series championship in Career.

Ultimate Champion is the single highest-value achievement in NASCAR 26 at 100 Gamerscore. It also feels like the natural endpoint of the Career ladder, but achievement hunters need to keep going because the long-term season milestones extend beyond the first Cup title.

Seasoned Veteran Is the Achievement I'd Plan Around Early

The championship achievements sound like the intimidating part of the list, but the three general Career milestones are what determine how long your completion can take.

First of Many
25 Gamerscore
Complete 1 Career season.

Established Pro
50 Gamerscore
Complete 5 Career seasons.

Seasoned Veteran
75 Gamerscore
Complete 10 Career seasons.

Seasoned Veteran is the one I'd consider the real Career completion milestone. Every series title can potentially be earned before you reach 10 total seasons, meaning the final stretch may stop being about proving you can win and become more about simply continuing the Career long enough.

That changes how I'd approach the earlier seasons. You're already required to finish ten of them, so there's very little achievement value in rushing through the first few only to realize later that you still have several complete years left. Use those seasons to knock out the championships and Career wins while the games still matter to your completion route.

There Are Three Simple Race and Setup Achievements

Outside the long Career route, NASCAR 26 has a few straightforward achievements that don't require winning an entire championship.

Create a Driver
25 Gamerscore
Create a driver.

This should naturally be one of the first achievements you earn if Career is your starting point. There's no reason to save it for cleanup when creating your own driver is already part of the main progression path.

First Place!
50 Gamerscore
Win a race.

This achievement doesn't specify a particular series or mode in its listed requirement. A normal victory should therefore be something you target naturally rather than building an entire separate run around it.

Getting Warmed Up
50 Gamerscore
Win a race in Career.

Getting Warmed Up is more specific because it requires Career Mode. Since you're already pursuing several Career championships, this should come naturally long before the 10-season requirement becomes relevant.

Go the Distance
75 Gamerscore
Complete a race of 100% length.

Go the Distance is the one standalone race I'd deliberately schedule rather than waiting for it to happen. The achievement description only requires completing a 100% length race, so winning isn't part of the listed condition. That means survival and finishing are more important than forcing an aggressive result.

I'd save it for a track and car combination you're comfortable with rather than choosing somewhere you're still struggling with braking or changing grooves. A full-distance race is already a time commitment; there's no benefit in making it harder than necessary.

You Need Multiplayer for the Full 1000 Gamerscore

Two achievements are explicitly tied to Multiplayer, so a purely offline completion isn't possible based on the current Xbox achievement list.

Racing in the Wild
50 Gamerscore
Complete a Multiplayer race.

Born Competitor
75 Gamerscore
Win a Multiplayer race.

Racing in the Wild should be the easier half because you only need to finish the race. Born Competitor is the achievement I'd leave until you're comfortable with the game's physics and racecraft, especially because an online win introduces other drivers as the one variable Career Mode can't prepare you for completely.

The efficient outcome is obviously to win your first completed Multiplayer race and unlock both requirements together, but I wouldn't build the entire achievement route around expecting that. Get the completion first, then treat the win as its own cleanup if necessary.

The achievement list is ultimately much more about persistence than obscure challenges. Career carries most of the completion, the 10-season milestone keeps you playing after the headline championships are finished, Go the Distance asks for one full-length race, and Multiplayer supplies the final two requirements. If you're planning the full 1,000 Gamerscore from the start, the best thing you can do is make every Career season count toward something instead of leaving championships and wins for a second grind later.
