The best pass style in NBA 2K27 isn't necessarily the one with the highest Pass Accuracy requirement. What matters more is how quickly the package gets the ball out, whether its normal passing animations stay clean, and how often it avoids awkward wind-ups that give defenders time to recover.
There are a few strong options already, but one stands out because it combines some of the best animations with a surprisingly low requirement.

What Is the Best Pass Style in NBA 2K27?
Deni Avdija is the best overall pass style in NBA 2K27 right now. It only requires 77 Pass Accuracy, but still gives you very fast, clean passing animations that compete with packages requiring significantly more investment.
That's the biggest reason I rank it first. You aren't sacrificing much in animation quality, but you're also not forcing your build into an unnecessarily high Pass Accuracy threshold just to unlock a good style.
For most guards, wings, and secondary playmakers that can reach 77 Pass Accuracy, Deni is the package I would equip first.
Best Pass Styles in NBA 2K27 Ranked
My current ranking is:
1. Deni Avdija — best overall.
2. Russell Westbrook — best fast and direct alternative.
3. Jaylen Brown — best if you use flashy passes often.
4. Dennis Schröder — best lower-requirement option.
Deni is the easiest recommendation because it gives you the best mix of speed, clean animations, and value. The other three become more useful depending on your Pass Accuracy and how you actually move the ball.
1. Deni Avdija — Best Overall Pass Style
Deni Avdija earns the top spot because the package doesn't really have an obvious weakness relative to its requirement.
At just 77 Pass Accuracy, you get one of the fastest and cleanest collections of passing animations available. That's especially valuable for secondary ball handlers because you can unlock a high-end pass style without building your entire MyPLAYER around passing.
I think 77 is an especially useful breakpoint because it lets wings and hybrid builds remain competent distributors without sacrificing as many attribute points elsewhere.
More importantly, Deni isn't only good because it's cheap. Players with much higher Pass Accuracy are still choosing the style and reporting good results, which suggests it holds up even when you have access to more expensive packages.
If you only want one recommendation, use Deni.
2. Russell Westbrook — Best Fast Alternative
Russell Westbrook is my second choice and the package I'd try if you don't like how Deni feels.
Westbrook's biggest strength is simplicity. Its passes tend to come out fast and directly, without as many unnecessary movements getting in the way.
That's exactly what I want from a pass style. A great animation shouldn't call attention to itself; it should get the ball from your player to the open teammate before the defense has time to close the lane.
For drive-and-kick guards or players constantly attacking the paint and finding shooters, Westbrook is a particularly good fit because those passing windows disappear quickly.
Deni still wins overall because of the value at 77 Pass Accuracy, but Westbrook is close enough that I'd have no problem using it if the animations feel cleaner to you personally.
3. Jaylen Brown — Best for Flashy Passes
Jaylen Brown is more situational, but it becomes one of the better choices if flashy passes are actually part of your offense.
The package has some very quick flashy-pass animations, so players who frequently use directional flashy passes can get more value from Brown than somebody who mostly throws standard chest passes.
That's why I wouldn't rank it strictly by normal pass speed alone. Pass styles include different contextual animations, and the animations you actually trigger should matter more than having the theoretically best package on paper.
If you're constantly throwing creative passes to cutters or using flashy passes out of drives, I'd test Jaylen Brown against Deni directly.
If you barely ever use flashy passes, stick with Deni or Westbrook.
4. Dennis Schröder — Best Budget Pass Style
Dennis Schröder is the option I'd use when your Pass Accuracy is too low for the better packages or when raising the attribute further would hurt the rest of your build.
It's still a solid pass style and generally gives you respectable speed, but it isn't as consistent as Deni or Westbrook.
The main drawback is that Schröder can occasionally produce slower or stranger animations, which makes it less reliable when a passing window is only open for a moment.
That said, I'd rather use Schröder on a well-built MyPLAYER than ruin the rest of the build just to reach another passing threshold.
The best pass style isn't valuable enough to justify sacrificing major shooting, finishing, or defensive breakpoints unless passing is one of your primary responsibilities.
Are Higher-Rated Pass Styles Better?
Not automatically.
This is one of the more important things to understand when choosing a pass style in NBA 2K27. A higher Pass Accuracy requirement doesn't guarantee that every animation in the package is faster or cleaner.
Players with very high Pass Accuracy have still reported getting poor load-up animations from some high-end styles, while Deni continues to be recommended despite requiring only 77.
That's why I wouldn't choose a package simply because it belongs to a famous point guard or has a higher unlock requirement.
The animation package itself matters more.
Which NBA 2K27 Pass Style Should You Use?
If you have at least 77 Pass Accuracy, use Deni Avdija first.
If you want another quick and straightforward package, try Russell Westbrook.
If you rely heavily on flashy passes, Jaylen Brown is the most interesting alternative.
If your build has lower Pass Accuracy and you don't want to sacrifice attributes elsewhere, Dennis Schröder is the budget option.
For most builds, though, I wouldn't overthink it. Deni gives you one of the strongest animation packages in NBA 2K27 while only asking for 77 Pass Accuracy, which makes it both the best overall pass style and one of the easiest to justify when planning a build.
