The Pandora Blade is hidden in the first dungeon, inside a secret room near the key that opens the route toward the Wind Sword and first boss.
Return to the room where you obtained that key and look for a broken brazier positioned against a wall. The nearby wall conceals a passage leading to a chamber filled with skeletons. You'll find the Pandora Blade inside.
If you've already defeated the first boss, you can return to this earlier area to collect the weapon.
The Pandora Blade is a separate weapon pickup, not an evolution of the Rusted Short Sword.
Pandora Blade Max Level and Damage
The Pandora Blade starts with just 5 attack power, but its damage bonus can increase to +300%. At that point, its base attack value effectively reaches 20.
Unlike most weapons, which have relatively short leveling paths, the Pandora Blade can continue gaining damage bonuses well beyond the usual progression.
Does the Pandora Blade Have a Max Level?
The reported limit is +300% bonus damage. However, that doesn't establish an exact maximum level number, so it's more accurate to describe the weapon by its damage cap.
You increase weapon levels through successful attacks, meaning you'll need to use the Pandora Blade extensively to develop its full damage potential.
The additional investment is substantial compared with weapons that begin with higher attack values.
How to Use the Pandora Blade's Hidden Technique
The Pandora Blade's most interesting feature is its ability to extend your movement through the air.
Its secondary attack performs a forward dash. By repeatedly using this attack while falling, you can travel farther horizontally than an ordinary jump allows.
To perform the technique:
- Equip the Pandora Blade.
- Jump or move off a ledge toward the area you want to reach.
- While airborne and falling, repeatedly use the weapon's forward dash attack.
- Combine the movement with Holy Sword Endu's air dash when additional distance is needed.
On PC, the secondary weapon attack uses right-click by default.
What Can You Reach With the Pandora Blade?
The technique is particularly useful for crossing long gaps and reaching elevated routes that would otherwise require additional Wind Gems.
Combining Pandora Blade dashes with Endu's movement ability provides more flexibility when exploring difficult terrain.
I'd practice the timing somewhere safe before attempting a jump where missing the landing would cost you significant progress.
Is the Pandora Blade Worth Leveling?
At its reported damage limit, the Pandora Blade reaches 20 attack power, making its regular attacks competitive with other powerful weapons.
However, reaching that point requires considerable use. If you're only interested in dealing high damage as quickly as possible, a stronger weapon obtained through normal progression may be more practical.
The Pandora Blade's real advantage is its combination of damage growth and mobility. Its forward dash can provide exploration benefits long before you've finished increasing its attack bonus.
For that reason, I'd keep the Pandora Blade available even if you don't plan to fully level it. Its movement technique offers a reason to use the weapon beyond its damage stats.
