Transport Fever 3 Achievements Guide

Transport Fever 3 has 41 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore, with most of the list centered around Free Game. The requirements range from basic milestones like transporting your first passenger to huge long-term targets including one million passengers, every vehicle, every cargo type, and $100 billion in cumulative earnings.

The easiest way to track all 41 isn't by following the default achievement order. I've separated them into early Free Game milestones, city and economy goals, transport challenges, unusual objectives, combined achievements that carry across multiple Free Games, and the four campaign achievements.

There Are 41 Achievements in Transport Fever 3

The full Transport Fever 3 achievement list contains 41 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore.

The most useful distinction is whether an achievement has to be completed inside one Free Game or is explicitly marked as combined. Requirements such as Megatropolis, Warehousing Titan, and Heritage Fleet are tied to an individual Free Game, while Passenger Pioneer, Cargo Pioneer, Connoisseur, and several other late-game achievements count progress across multiple Free Games.

Achievement Breakdown
• Most achievements are earned in Free Game
• Some major milestones must be completed within one Free Game
• 10 achievements explicitly combine progress across multiple Free Games
• 4 achievements are tied to the campaign
• Full completion requires playing every climate zone

That last point matters because Globetrotter directly requires playing in all climate zones, while Tycoon of Tycoons and Master Salesman also depend on progress made across different climate zones.

Early Free Game Achievements

These are the simplest achievements to knock out while establishing a new Free Game. They introduce passengers, cargo, subsidies, town supply, company ranks, landscaping, and the time and weather controls.

Early Free Game Achievements
• All Aboard — Have your first passenger board a passenger vehicle
• Package Arrived — Deliver your first cargo item to a destination
• On Behalf Of — Successfully finish your first subsidy contract
• Caretaker — Satisfy a town's supply rating
• Urban Development — Let a town expand to a higher level
• Increased Demand — Cause a town to demand an additional cargo type
• Promotion — Gain a company rank for the first time
• Offshore — Land a helicopter on an oil platform for the first time
• Landscaper — Plant a tree
• Timekeeper — Change the daytime
• Weatherman — Change the weather

Most of these are one-time system milestones rather than long grinds. If you're eventually going for all 41 achievements, there's little reason to leave things like planting a tree or changing the weather for endgame cleanup.

City Growth and Economy Achievements

The city and economy achievements are where individual Free Games start requiring much larger networks.

Megatropolis focuses on one city, while Populated Country looks at the total population across the map.

Population & Economy Achievements
• Megatropolis — Grow one town to at least 3,000 population
• Populated Country — Reach 50,000 total population on the map
• Warehousing Titan — Store more than 10,000 cargo items in one warehouse
• Bicentennial Tycoon — Play a Free Game from 1900 until 2000
• Subsidy Streak — Complete 10 subsidies in a row successfully
• Carreer Ladder — Reach the highest company title
• Bank's Best Friend — Pay more than $10 million in bank interest

Bicentennial Tycoon is based on the actual timespan of the Free Game rather than a particular revenue or network target, so it belongs in a different category from most of the economy achievements.

Bank's Best Friend is also unusual because the achievement specifically rewards accumulating more than $10 million in interest payments rather than avoiding debt.

Transport, Vehicle, and Industry Achievements

Several achievements push you toward building more specialized infrastructure rather than simply making the company larger.

Transport & Industry Achievements
• Summit Stopover — Have a train stop at a station situated above 500 meters
• Heritage Fleet — Have every available ship type from 1900 to 2050 operating
• Boost the Pack — Have boosters active for 10 industries at the same time
• Car Imperium — Have one industry produce 500 cars within 12 months
• Centralized — Build all 10 landmarks within one municipal area

These requirements are much more specific than the basic transport milestones. Summit Stopover requires both rail service and elevation, while Heritage Fleet is focused entirely on ships and spans the available types from 1900 through 2050.

Car Imperium is also based on production within a fixed 12-month window, so simply reaching 500 cars over the entire lifetime of an industry isn't what the achievement asks for.

Special and Unusual Free Game Achievements

A handful of achievements don't fit neatly into the usual transport-management goals and instead reward strange situations or deliberate experiments.

Special Free Game Achievements
• Encounter of the 3rd Kind — Catch a UFO for the first time
• Oldschool — Use a steam locomotive during the 2000s
• It Wasn't Me — Reduce a town's reputation rating to 0%
• Perfectionist — Demolish and rebuild a station twice in a row

Oldschool is especially easy to understand once you know the condition: the achievement doesn't ask you to preserve an entire historical railway, only to have a steam locomotive in use during the 2000s.

It Wasn't Me goes in the opposite direction from normal city building by specifically requiring a 0% town reputation rating.

Combined Achievements Carry Across Multiple Free Games

The largest advantage when planning a full achievement run is that several of the most extreme requirements are explicitly marked as combined. You do not have to complete those totals in one Free Game.

Combined Free Game Achievements
• Globetrotter — Play a Free Game in every climate zone
• Tycoon of Tycoons — Earn the Tycoon company title in every climate zone
• Master Salesman — Deliver every cargo type available across the climate zones
• Around the World — Build a combined 40,075 km of streets and tracks
• Passenger Pioneer — Transport a combined 1,000,000 passengers
• Cargo Pioneer — Transport a combined 1,000,000 cargo items
• Global Population — Increase the total population of all Free Games by 100,000
• Connoisseur — Use every vehicle at least once
• Evil Money — Earn a cumulative $100 billion
• Animal Lover — Spot every animal in the game at least once

These are the achievements I'd keep in mind when starting new maps. Progress isn't wasted just because you move to another climate or begin another Free Game.

Several Achievements Require Every Climate Zone

Three combined achievements are especially important when deciding which maps to play because they directly reference climate zones.

Climate-Based Achievements
• Globetrotter — Play in all climate zones
• Tycoon of Tycoons — Reach Tycoon in every climate zone
• Master Salesman — Deliver every cargo type available in any climate zone

Because Tycoon of Tycoons already asks you to reach the Tycoon title in every climate, anyone going for full completion has a reason to build meaningful companies across all of them rather than only loading each climate briefly for Globetrotter.

Master Salesman adds another reason to diversify: cargo availability changes across climate zones, and the achievement requires every cargo type available in any of them.

Passenger and Cargo Milestones Reach One Million

Passenger Pioneer and Cargo Pioneer are two of the clearest long-term statistical achievements.

Million-Transport Achievements
• Passenger Pioneer — Transport 1,000,000 passengers combined
• Cargo Pioneer — Transport 1,000,000 cargo items combined

Since both explicitly count combined Free Game progress, there's no need to force either million into one map. Normal passenger and cargo networks across your different games can all contribute.

Every Vehicle and Every Animal Are Also Required

Two completion achievements are essentially discovery checklists.

Connoisseur requires using every vehicle at least once across your Free Games, while Animal Lover requires spotting every animal in the game.

Collection-Style Achievements
• Connoisseur — Use every vehicle at least once
• Animal Lover — Spot every animal at least once

The achievement list itself doesn't provide a complete vehicle or animal checklist, so I wouldn't invent those totals here. Both achievements are combined, meaning discoveries made across different Free Games can contribute.

Transport Fever 3 Campaign Achievements

Only four of the 41 achievements are specifically tied to the campaign, but full campaign completion goes beyond simply finishing every mission.

Campaign Achievements
• The Journey Begins — Complete the first campaign mission
• Story Master — Complete every campaign mission
• Story Legend — Collect every star in every campaign mission
• Phalerist — Earn all medals across the entire campaign

The Journey Begins should come naturally almost immediately if you're playing through the campaign, while Story Master requires completing the full set of missions.

Story Legend and Phalerist are the real completion goals. Finishing every mission alone is not enough for either one: Story Legend requires every star, while Phalerist requires all campaign medals.

The Best Way to Approach All 41 Achievements

I wouldn't try to force all 41 achievements into one giant Free Game. The achievement list itself gives you a better route by explicitly allowing several of the largest totals to carry across multiple games.

Use your main Free Game for the large single-map requirements like Megatropolis, Populated Country, Warehousing Titan, Subsidy Streak, Heritage Fleet, Centralized, and Car Imperium. Meanwhile, every new game can continue contributing toward passengers, cargo, population, distance, vehicles, animals, and total earnings.

Completion Priorities
• Knock out the simple system achievements early in your first Free Game
• Build one strong map around the demanding single-game achievements
• Complete subsidies consistently toward Subsidy Streak and company titles
• Use ships, helicopters, trains, and specialized infrastructure as their achievements become practical
• Play every climate zone and work toward Tycoon in each one
• Deliver different cargo types across those climates for Master Salesman
• Keep using new vehicles for Connoisseur
• Let passenger, cargo, population, distance, and money totals accumulate across all Free Games
• Complete every campaign mission, then clean up all stars and medals

The list is much less intimidating once it's split this way. Only a portion of the achievements demand a specific setup inside one map; several of the largest numerical requirements are designed to accumulate across your entire collection of Free Games.
