How to Get Sir Jezhek’s Armor and Horse KCD2

The Lost Honour side quest allows you to retrieve Sir Jezhek’s armour, shield, and horse, but there are multiple ways to do it. Here’s a step-by-step guide/walkthrough on how to get everything.
1. Start the Lost Honour Quest
Find Jezhek of Holohlavy at a crossroads southwest of Horschan in the Kuttenberg region.
He will try to rob you but isn’t very convincing.
You can fight him, talk him down, or question him.
No matter what, he reveals he lost his armor and horse to Zavish of Garbow in Sigismund’s Camp after a failed duel.
Your goal: Retrieve Jezhek’s armor and horse from Zavish.
2. Finding Zavish in Sigismund’s Camp
Head to Sigismund’s Camp. The guards will stop you, but you can tell them you’re there for Jezhek, and they will let you in.
Zavish’s tent is near the camp kitchen. Look for a black eagle with three yellow stones on his shield.
3. Getting the Armor – Three Options
Option 1: Duel Zavish (Honorable Way)
Speak to Zavish and challenge him to a duel.
You must pass a skill check to trigger the duel:
Domination (24+ recommended)
Warfare (very high required)
You can boost charisma with alcohol to make it easier.
If you win two out of three rounds, he gives you Jezhek’s armor and horse.
Option 2: Steal the Armor (Sneaky Way)
At night, sneak into Zavish’s tent and pick the lock on the chest to steal the armor.
His dog is inside, so use Stealth and Saviour Schnapps to avoid detection.
If the quest doesn’t update after stealing, drop and pick up the armor again.
Option 3: Knock Out or Kill Zavish (Aggressive Way)
Wait until Zavish is sleeping and knock him out or even kill him.
Loot Jezhek’s armor off him directly.
This avoids speech checks but might alert camp guards.
4. Getting the Horse
The horse is stabled near the eastern entrance of the camp. Claim it for yourself.
It has yellow gear on it, making it easy to spot.
Keeping the Armor for Yourself
If you want to keep Jezhek’s armor, you have two options when you talk to him:
Lie – Tell him you couldn’t recover it.
Give him the armor, then knock him out later – Steal it back after he puts it on.
This lets you complete the quest and keep the gear.
Final Notes
Save before speaking to Zavish.
If the quest bugs out, reload an earlier save or abandon it for a few in-game days.
Dueling is the best option if you want extra gold and an achievement.
