Stealing horses in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is easy—getting rid of them for profit is the tricky part. You can’t just walk into town and sell a stolen horse unless you enjoy getting chased by guards. Instead, you need to find the right buyer—someone who doesn’t ask questions.

That’s where Mikolai, the horse fence, comes in. Here’s how to sell!

Where to Sell Stolen Horses

  • Find Horse Handler Mikolai

    • He’s located at the Nomad’s Camp, a hidden settlement where stolen goods are always welcome.

    • Look for a man in a green hat—that’s your guy.

  • Ride the Stolen Horse to Him

    • If you fast travel while on the stolen horse, you’ll arrive with it safely.

    • If you ride manually, be careful—people might get suspicious and call you out for horse theft.

    • DO NOT dismount for too long—stolen horses run back to their original location if left alone.

  • Sell the Horse on the Black Market

    • Talk to Mikolai and select the "Horse Black Market" option.

    • Haggle if you want a better price—Mikolai isn’t made of Groschen, so don’t expect a fortune.

    • Once sold, the horse is gone for good, so make sure you actually want to get rid of it.

  • Wait Before Selling Again

    • Mikolai doesn’t have unlimited money, so after selling a horse, you’ll need to wait a few in-game days before he can buy another.

Final Blurb

  • Choose high-stat horses – They sell for more money.

  • Don’t get caught – If someone sees you stealing a horse, guards will be after you.

  • Sell wisely – Mikolai’s cash resets after a few days, so don’t expect to sell multiple horses at once.

With a bit of patience, you’ll have a steady stream of Groschen—just don’t expect to start a legitimate horse-selling business anytime soon.
