It’s perfect for screenshots, storytelling, or just making your Zoi look cool while standing in a parking lot for no reason.

How to Use Emotes in Photo Mode in inZOI

To access emotes, you’ll need to be in Photo Mode. Here’s what to do:

  1. Enter Photo Mode from the main menu or while playing.

  2. Open the Pose tab.

  3. Scroll through the available emotes and select one to see your Zoi strike the pose instantly.

  4. If you’ve made any custom AI emotes, they’ll be marked blue in the list.

How to Create Custom AI Emotes in inZOI

If you want to make your own emotes (because of course you do):

  1. In Photo Mode, click Make AI Emote at the top of the Pose tab.

  2. You’ll be taken to the Emote Generation screen.

  3. Upload either a video or an image for your Zoi to copy.

Accepted formats:

  • Videos: .mp4, .avi, .mkv, .mov

  • Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp, .tiff

Make sure the reference shows a full-body shot of one person only. If it’s cropped or contains multiple people, the emote won’t generate.

Heads Up About AI Emotes

  • These are still in development, so results might not always look perfect.

  • AI emotes only handle body poses, not facial expressions.

  • For faces, use the Facial Expression selector in Photo Mode or try Facial Capture if you’re feeling fancy.

Final Blurb

inZOI’s emote system lets you go way beyond basic posing. Whether you’re using the presets or uploading your own custom shots, it’s a fun way to bring your Zoi to life—one dramatic stance at a time. Just remember: no half-baked selfies. Full body or nothing.
