R.E.P.O. How to Revive Friends

Death is more of an inconvenience than a tragedy in R.E.P.O. Sure, your buddy is now a decapitated husk, but that doesn’t mean they can’t bounce back. With a little teamwork and a lot of sarcasm, you can drag your friends back from the brink—and make them useful again.

Here’s how to revive your friend when everything has gone sideways.
Step 1: Find Their Head
When your friend dies, they become a broken one and their head is all that remains—rolling around like a forgotten soccer ball.
Pick it up like a responsible co-worker (or to stop it from judging you silently).
Heads don’t weigh much, so feel free to carry a few… for morale.
Step 2: Haul It to the Extraction Point
Take their head to the Extraction Point—the same place where you drop valuables.
You’ll see a red counter showing how many revives are still available.
Once the team meets the extraction quota (by depositing loot and/or heads), the extractor activates.
Try not to stand under it, unless you want to join your buddy in the afterlife.
Step 3: Watch the Miracle of Life (Sort Of)
Your friend respawns—with 1HP. Seriously, don’t let them trip or sneeze.
To heal up, they can:
Get 25HP inside the R.E.P.O. truck.
Fully heal at the Service Station (if they live long enough to reach it).
Bonus: Share HP Like a Good Teammate
If your revived buddy is one paper cut away from death, you can help.
Interact with the back of their head and hold the button to transfer 10HP.
Warning: You lose that HP—but hey, friendship is sacrifice, right?
The Broken Ones (Not a Metal Band)
When players die, they become Broken Ones, just a floating head and some regrets.
If left alone, they respawn next round with 1HP.
Still, it’s better (and faster) to revive them properly. Plus, they’ll owe you.
Final Blurb
In R.E.P.O., heads will roll—and you’ll need to pick them up. Reviving friends is quick, messy, and essential, especially when the Taxman is on your tail. So grab that head, hit the extractor, and try not to get smooshed in the process. They’d do the same for you. Probably.
