R.E.P.O. What is King of the Losers?

King of the Losers is R.E.P.O.’s way of making sure you don’t just wallow in shame after a failed run—it lets you fight for some last-minute dignity.

If your entire team wipes out, instead of just heading back to the menu, you’ll be thrown into a chaotic last-man-standing brawl against your fellow failures. The winner of this fight earns the grand, prestigious, completely meaningless title of King of the Losers.

What’s the Point?

  • It’s not serious—there’s no reward except bragging rights.

  • It’s a fun way to shake off a bad run before heading back in.

  • It gives you something to do instead of just staring at the defeat screen.

How It Works

  • When the run ends in failure, all players are dropped into a free-for-all arena.

  • Everyone fights until only one remains standing.

  • The winner gets crowned King of the Losers, and then it’s back to business as usual.

It’s totally unnecessary—but also hilarious. If you’re going to fail, you might as well fail with style.
