Split Fiction Achievement Guide & Trophy List

If you’re aiming for Platinum in Split Fiction, good news—it’s not that hard. The game is entirely co-op, so you’ll need a partner to get through it, but as long as you both stay on track, you’ll be done in about 10 hours. Or, if you know someone with Platinum, you can cheese your way through in as little as an hour.

Trophy Roadmap

  • Difficulty: 3/10

  • Time to Platinum: 10+ hours (or as little as 1 hour with a Platinum player in offline co-op, or 3+ hours in online co-op)

  • Missable Trophies: None (everything can be replayed through Chapter Select)

  • Glitched Trophies: None

  • Difficulty Settings Matter?: No—everyone plays at the same difficulty

  • Free-Roam / Level Select?: Yes, Chapter Select is available

  • Manual Saves?: No, autosave only

  • Friend Pass Supports Trophies?: No, only the host earns them

Step 1: Complete the Story + Grab Miscellaneous Trophies (10+ Hours)

Your main goal in the first run is to beat the game while collecting trophies along the way. This includes:

  • Story-related trophies

  • Side stories

  • Benches (yes, you get trophies for sitting down)

If you miss anything, don’t worry—you can replay chapters and skip to checkpoints.

Step 2: Speedrun with a Platinum Player (1-3 Hours, Optional Shortcut)

Want a faster way to get Platinum? If a player who already has Platinum invites you, they can skip most of the game for you:

  • Offline Co-Op (1 Hour): The Platinum player hosts, adds your account as Player 2, and you only need to finish the last checkpoint of any mission inside a chapter.

  • Online Co-Op (3+ Hours): The Platinum player can invite you to the final mission (“Final Showdown” in Chapter 8). You can use the “Skip to Next Checkpoint” option to fast-forward through levels.

Key trophies in this step:

  • BFF’s (Complete the game)

  • Bookworms (Complete all side stories)

  • Sisters: A Tale of Two Besties (Sit on all benches)

If you’re playing online, note that you must complete the final checkpoint of every side story manually—no skipping.

Final Blurb

Split Fiction isn’t a tough Platinum, but you do need a co-op partner and a bit of patience for collectibles. If you’re feeling lazy, find a Platinum player and let them do the work—otherwise, enjoy the journey and watch out for that Cold Potato trophy. It’s the trickiest one.
