AION 2 What Is Flight Power Explained

Flight Power is linked to AION 2's flying system, but it does not determine how quickly your character moves through the air. Instead, it controls how long you can keep your Wings active before your available flight resource runs out.

What Is Flight Power in AION 2?

Flight Power is essentially your maximum flying stamina in AION 2. The more Flight Power you have, the longer you can remain airborne before you need to stop flying and let the resource recover.

It does not increase your movement speed while flying. That is handled by a separate stat called Flight Speed.

How to Increase Flight Power in AION 2

You increase Flight Power by collecting Wings that provide Flight Power as an Owned Effect.

This is important because Owned Effects do not require the Wing to be equipped. Once you own a Wing with Flight Power, its bonus contributes to your character even if you are using a different Wing.

That means increasing Flight Power is largely about expanding your Wing collection rather than finding one Wing with a huge stamina stat and wearing it permanently.

You will also obtain several Wings naturally through Ascension quests, including Intermediate, Superior, and Ultimate Daeva Wings. These are worth collecting as you move through the story because their Owned Effects contribute to your overall Flight Power.

AION 2 currently lists 28 obtainable Wings in the collection menu, although not every Wing necessarily exists primarily for Flight Power. The Founder's Pack Wings, for example, do not provide additional Flight Power.

Flight Power vs Flight Speed

Flight Power and Flight Speed solve two completely different problems.

If you keep running out of flight stamina before reaching your destination, you want more Flight Power. If you can already stay airborne long enough but want to cover ground more quickly, Flight Speed is the relevant stat.

Some Titles can provide Flight Speed, but those bonuses do not increase your total Flight Power. Likewise, collecting more Flight Power does not directly make your Wings move faster.

How to Check Your Flight Power

Press Alt + C to open the Wings menu, then look through All Applied Effects and the All Owned Effects section. This shows the permanent bonuses being contributed by the Wings you have collected, including your Flight Power.

Because Flight Power is an Owned Effect, you can keep using whichever Wing you prefer for its appearance or Equipped Effects while still receiving the Flight Power bonuses from the rest of your collection.
