Final Fantasy Resonance has 40 achievements, but its completion run does not require a perfect save or a second playthrough. There are no missable achievements, difficulty does not matter, and finishing the story leaves you free to return for optional bosses, collections, side content, and anything else you skipped. The smartest approach is to let the large cumulative requirements build during the campaign, then use the late game and post-game to finish the objectives that actually demand dedicated attention.

Several hidden objectives can still be identified from the game's wider completion requirements even though the achievement menu does not reveal which Gamerscore slot belongs to each one.
- The Weaponsmith: Recruit Aileen through Forger of Wills, collect eight pieces of Adamantite, and craft all eight weapons with her.
- Legendary Arms: Obtain all 12 unique ancient weapons associated with the Chamber of Arms.
- Mechabo Mania: Complete the first two Mechabo upgrade quests.
- Priceless Experience: Defeat a Metal Gigantaur.
- Struck Gold: Defeat a King Gil Snapper.
- Post-Game Superboss: Defeat the Level 70 optional boss waiting at Ardra Crater after finishing the story.
The remaining hidden achievements should not be guessed at from the information currently available. Since none of the achievements are missable, you can continue using the same save while finishing anything that remains undiscovered.
Start These Achievements as Soon as Possible
The two requirements most likely to waste your time at the end are Resonance Rapid Fire and Keep Them on Their Toes. Four hundred Resonance uses and 1,000 staggers are large totals, but both become much less noticeable if you build progress throughout the campaign.
Use Resonances during regular encounters instead of treating them as boss-only abilities. The same applies to staggering. A party that regularly pushes enemies into stagger contributes toward the 1,000 requirement while you are already leveling, exploring, collecting Visions, and completing quests.
Vision Mastery deserves the same treatment. You need eight Visions at maximum Mastery Rank for Vision Connoisseur, so choose eight that fit characters you frequently use and keep developing them. Waiting until every other achievement is finished before starting eight MR 9 grinds is one of the few ways to turn this otherwise forgiving completion into a slog.
Tablet Shards are also worth picking up whenever they are directly on your route. You do not need the entire collection, but enough are required to progress Oblivion Palace far enough for Memento.
What You Do Not Need for 100% Completion
Final Fantasy Resonance looks like the kind of RPG that could demand exhaustive map clearing, but its achievement list leaves a surprising amount of the world optional.
- Open every treasure chest.
- Collect every Tablet Shard.
- Find every piece of Magicite.
- Watch every hidden Active Time Chat conversation.
- Fill a Bestiary.
- Scan every enemy with Libra.
- Master every Vision.
- Master Visions on every party member.
- Complete the fourth Colosseum league.
- Complete the third Mechabo upgrade quest.
- Reach the maximum character level.
- Start New Game+.
- Play on a higher difficulty.
That makes route planning much simpler. Explore thoroughly enough to collect useful equipment and complete the content attached to actual achievements, but there is no need to clear every icon or inspect every corner before advancing the story.
Finish Collections Through Other Achievement Objectives
The most efficient collection route is to overlap systems instead of farming each one independently. The 26 Visions, nine Espers, eight Adamantite weapons, and 12 ancient weapons all intersect with exploration, side quests, boss fights, Oblivion Palace, the Colosseum, and sea travel.
For the eight Adamantite weapons, complete Forger of Wills and recruit Aileen to your airship. Adamantite can come from Oblivion Palace, Colosseum rewards, sea exploration, ship trading, mini-bosses, and other optional combat, so you should accumulate much of what you need while pursuing the rest of the list.
Sea exploration becomes more productive after speaking to the Robed Merchant at Gaberada and obtaining the Magi-Tenna. Later, pick up the Resonance Stone from a chest on Mt. Reizan to extend those exploration options further.
The 12 ancient weapons should be treated the same way. Search major locations, clear side content, work through the Brawler League, progress to the 3-Star section of Oblivion Palace, trade with ships, and check dungeon chests while you are already there for another reason.
If your Chamber of Arms collection is still incomplete near the end, inspect the pedestal for the missing piece. It provides a clue toward the equipment's location, which is much faster than restarting a world-wide treasure hunt.
Save the Hardest Achievement Fights for Late Game
Optional bosses are where Final Fantasy Resonance finally asks more from your party, but none of them need to interrupt the story. If a Cave Master or Esper fight is clearly ahead of your current power, leave it behind and return after your party has better levels, equipment, and Vision setups.
The 13 Cave Masters are spread across six regions.
- Kingdom of Grandshelt — Marauder.
- Olderion Federation — Rukh, Mindflayer, and Malboro Varietas.
- Zoldaad Empire Territory — Gogmagog and Pyroviper.
- Mysidia — Jotunn.
- Gronoa — Necromonarch, Humbaba, and Catacumba.
- Kingdom of Pharm — Titanoraidos, Malboro Menace, and Tartarosaurus.
The Gladiator League belongs in the same late-game bucket. Career Fighter only asks you to finish the third Colosseum tier, but its final battle reaches Level 70 territory. There is little reason to force that fight before the rest of your endgame setup is ready.
For extra levels, hunt Metal Gigantaurs on the top floor of the Crystal Tower in Chapter 8. Defeating one also handles Priceless Experience, so the same enemy can contribute to both leveling and completion.
Struck Gold can be handled while cleaning up the Kingdom of Pharm. A King Gil Snapper can reliably be found on the island east of Dragon's Maw. The airship cannot land there, so enter Dragon's Maw and travel through the cave to reach the island from the opposite side.
Best Final Fantasy Resonance Post-Game Cleanup Route
Finishing the story sends you back before the final point of no return rather than closing the save. That makes the post-game the best time to stop wandering between unrelated objectives and clear the remaining achievements in an efficient order.
- Finish any remaining party member substories.
- Collect missing Visions until all 26 are obtained.
- Finish MR 9 on the eight Visions closest to completion.
- Awaken a Vision to 3-Star if Awakened Light is still missing.
- Find the remaining Espers.
- Use Oblivion Palace to finish Memento and collect useful rewards.
- Clear enough Colosseum content to finish Career Fighter.
- Craft the remaining Adamantite weapons with Aileen.
- Use Chamber of Arms pedestal clues to locate missing ancient weapons.
- Defeat every remaining Cave Master.
- Farm Metal Gigantaurs if your party still needs levels.
- Defeat the post-game Level 70 superboss at Ardra Crater.
- Finish any remaining stagger, Resonance, gil, or hidden-achievement counters.
The party substory achievement requires Last Respite, Token Legacy, Nichol's Duty, Beyond the Blue, Shimmering Reflections, The Twin Titleholders, A New Leaf, and Mysidia, Ever Blooming. Other side quests are not universally required, although several provide Visions, equipment, or progression toward other achievement goals, so they can still save time elsewhere.
A full completion is expected to land around the 80-hour mark, but the list is forgiving about how you spend those hours. Nothing forces a second run, nothing disappears permanently, and the hardest fights can all wait until your party is built for them. The only objectives worth actively watching from the beginning are the large cumulative counters and Vision Mastery; almost everything else can be folded naturally into exploration or finished once the world is completely open.
