Gears of War E-Day How to Get Into Bank of Tyrus
The Bank of Tyrus is one of the major buildings you can discover while exploring Kalona in Gears of War: E-Day. Although the bank appears on your map and contains a collectible and Hard Case, you won't necessarily be able to enter when you first reach it. Getting inside requires reaching a particular point in the campaign.

To enter the Bank of Tyrus, you must advance through Act 2, Chapter 2, Hold the Line, until you receive the main objective Find Dr. Dalia Fabbri. This objective becomes available after completing Get Mags' Meds at the Envoy Hotel.
Once the objective changes, return to the Bank of Tyrus near the town square. Approach the main entrance and interact with the doors to enter the building.

Entrance: Main doors of the Bank of Tyrus
You don't need a key, special equipment, or another entrance. The bank becomes accessible through the main story, so there's no reason to spend time searching the surrounding streets for an alternative route.
Why Can't You Enter the Bank of Tyrus?
If you've reached the bank but can't interact with its entrance, you're most likely there before the story allows access. Hold the Line features a large explorable district, but certain buildings only become available when Marcus receives the appropriate orders.
Continue completing your main objectives, including the Imulsion stockpile operation and the trip to Mags' apartment. Once Get Mags' Meds is finished, the next assignment sends you to the bank.
This also explains why you might see collectible markers inside the building despite being unable to reach them. They aren't necessarily hidden behind another entrance or a side mission. You simply need to return when the bank becomes your objective.
What to Do Once You're Inside the Bank
After entering, follow the bank employee through the lobby and meet the manager. He will lead you upstairs, where investigating the office triggers the next encounter.
You'll then need to defend the building against Tickers and other Locust enemies. Once the attack is over, return downstairs and use the vault controls behind the teller desks to open the vault.
If you originally wanted to enter the bank for its collectibles, there are two important pickups inside the vault:
War Savings Bond: Located on the left side of the vault.
Hard Case: Located on the right side of the vault. Contains the Hammerburst General Mod Slot and Huge Magazine upgrades.
Both items become accessible during the bank's story objective. You don't need to complete a separate mission to collect them, so I would grab both before continuing to your next destination.
If you arrived at the Bank of Tyrus earlier in the campaign, there's no need to restart or search for another way inside. Continue the main story until Find Dr. Dalia Fabbri appears, then return to the front entrance.
