How to Survive the Trudge

The Trudge is an incredibly slow but incredibly deadly monster that drags a massive mace, creating a loud stone-grinding noise that can be heard through walls. It doesn’t move fast, but speed isn’t its strength—brutal, unavoidable attacks are.

What Makes It Dangerous?

  • Pulls players toward it when spotted, using a shockwave that drags anyone in its line of sight closer.

  • The pull itself does little damage, but the mace smash is an instant kill.

  • Not easily fooled—if it knows you're hiding, it will send tendrils under furniture to drag you out.

  • High HP makes killing it difficult, and tight spaces make its pull attack nearly impossible to dodge.

How to Avoid It

  • Stay out of its line of sight—if it can’t see you, it can’t pull you.

  • Do not hide in obvious places—it will check under tables and furniture.

  • If spotted, break line of sight immediately—the pull is deadly in enclosed areas.

How to Fight It

  • Landmines are effective, but unless you have enough to fully kill it or create a distraction, it’s not worth the risk.

  • Melee combat is a bad idea—its high HP and instant-kill attack make close-range fights a death sentence.

Final Tip

The Trudge is best avoided entirely. If you hear that grinding sound, find cover, keep your distance, and let it pass. If you try to fight it without a solid plan, you won’t get a second chance.
