MW4 How to Unlock Kyle

Kyle is one of the unlockable Operators in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but unlike many of the game's other characters, he isn't earned through Multiplayer challenges, Campaign missions, or leveling up. Unlocking Kyle requires a specific purchase, making him easy to overlook if you're searching for an in-game objective. Here's exactly how to get Kyle in MW4 and what you need to know before trying to unlock him.

How to Unlock Kyle in MW4

To unlock Kyle in MW4, you need to purchase the Call of Duty Endowment Valor Pack. Kyle is an Operator associated with this paid bundle, rather than a reward for reaching a particular level or completing an in-game challenge.

Look for the Call of Duty Endowment Valor Pack through MW4's available store listings. Once you've purchased the correct bundle and its content is available on your account, Kyle should become accessible through the Operator selection menu.

Kyle belongs to the South Korean Quick Reaction Force faction. If you're looking through the game's Operator roster, this is the faction associated with his character.

Can You Unlock Kyle for Free in MW4?

No free unlock method is currently listed for Kyle. His unlock requirement is tied specifically to purchasing the Call of Duty Endowment Valor Pack, so playing Multiplayer matches, finishing Campaign missions, or increasing your DMZ level won't unlock him.

This differs from Operators such as Jae, who can be earned through Multiplayer hipfire kills, and Reece, who becomes available through DMZ progression. Kyle doesn't have an equivalent gameplay challenge listed.

If you're working toward unlocking Operators without spending additional money, we'd recommend focusing on those challenge-based characters instead. There's no reason to grind levels specifically for Kyle when his current unlock requirement is a separate purchase.

How to Equip Kyle in MW4

After unlocking Kyle, open the Operator selection menu and locate him under the South Korean Quick Reaction Force faction. Select his character to use him wherever he's available in your Operator roster.

If you want to recruit Kyle in DMZ, remember that changing an existing Operator can have progression consequences. Dismissing a recruited Operator removes their Dog Tag Rank, purchased Traits, unspent Trait Points, and loadout.

We recommend using an available Operator slot rather than dismissing a leveled character simply to switch appearances. Our MW4 How to Change Operator guide explains how to manage those slots without unnecessarily losing progress.

If Kyle remains locked after purchasing the Valor Pack, verify that the bundle is associated with the account you're using and that its content has been installed or made available. Restarting MW4 may also help refresh the Operator selection screen, although purchasing the correct pack remains the requirement for unlocking him.
