Over the Hill Sasquatch Location

The Sasquatch is one of Over the Hill's Legendary wildlife discoveries, but the in-game habitat clue of "Remote Forest" does not narrow Emerald Lake down very much on its own. There is only one Sasquatch spawn point, and the useful landmark is in the northeast of the map near a small hill between two of the area's northern crates.

Where to Find Sasquatch in Over the Hill

Sasquatch is found in the northeast section of Emerald Lake. Its only known spawn point is in the Remote Forest habitat, and you need to search there at night while the weather is dry.

The easiest way to narrow the location down is to use the crates and terrain map rather than trying to identify what the game considers a "Remote Forest." Look toward the northeastern part of Emerald Lake and find the two upper crates in that section. Between them is a small additional hill visible on the terrain map. Sasquatch appears around the northeastern point of that hill.

Area: Emerald Lake
Map Section: Northeast
Landmark: Small hill between the two upper northeast crates
Spawn Point: Northeast side of the hill
Time: Night
Weather: Dry

How to Find the Exact Sasquatch Spot

Do not search every wooded section of Emerald Lake. "Remote Forest" describes the Sasquatch's habitat, but the creature only has one spawn point, so treating the entire forest as a search zone wastes a lot of time.

Open the terrain map and move your attention to the northeast. Use the two northern crates in that part of the map as your main reference points. There is a smaller hill positioned between them, and the Sasquatch location is on the northeastern edge of that hill.

Once you reach that section, slow down and search around the hill rather than continuing deeper through the surrounding forest. Multiple players have independently found Sasquatch in the northeast portion of Emerald Lake, with the small hill providing the most precise landmark for the spawn.

If you are still getting familiar with the game's exploration systems, our Over the Hill Tips and Tricks guide covers some of the broader navigation and exploration mechanics worth knowing.

Sasquatch Spawn Conditions

Finding the correct hill is only part of the requirement. Sasquatch is a nighttime animal and its listed weather condition is Dry, so searching the location during the day or during the wrong weather can leave you looking in the correct place without finding it.

The important combination is northeast Emerald Lake, nighttime, and dry weather. Because Sasquatch has only one spawn point, there is no second area elsewhere on the map that you need to check if those conditions are not currently met.

Rarity: Legendary
Class: Mammal
Habitat: Remote Forest
Spawn Points: 1
Required Time: Night
Required Weather: Dry

Sasquatch Photo Reward

Your first photograph of Sasquatch rewards 100 Pebbles.

That makes it one of the more valuable wildlife discoveries compared with the common and uncommon animals around Emerald Lake. You only need to successfully photograph it for the first-photo reward; simply reaching the spawn location is not the objective.

The 100-Pebble payout also makes the hunt useful beyond filling out the wildlife collection, particularly if you are saving Pebbles for vehicle upgrades.

What to Check if Sasquatch Is Not Spawning

If you reach the northeast hill and do not see Sasquatch, verify the conditions before assuming you have the wrong location.

First, make sure it is actually nighttime. Second, check that the current weather is dry. Finally, confirm that you are searching the northeastern side of the small hill between the two upper northeast crates rather than simply wandering through another wooded section nearby.

There is only one listed Sasquatch spawn point in Emerald Lake, so the solution is not to search every forest on the map. The location is fixed to the northeast area; the more important variables are reaching the correct hill and looking under its night and dry-weather conditions.
