AION 2 Listing Pending Explained & Fixes

If your AION 2 Market item says Listing Pending, it has not fully moved into an active sale yet. Global uses additional Market restrictions and anti-abuse systems that can delay parts of the trading process, but NCSoft has not published a guaranteed timer for how long every pending listing takes, so the important part is determining whether the item is actually pending, already listed, sold, or waiting somewhere else in the Market UI.

What Does Listing Pending Mean in AION 2?

Listing Pending means the Market has not finished moving your item into its normal active listing state. It does not automatically mean the item was deleted, sold, or that your Market is broken.

There is evidence that Global's Market has additional anti-bot and account-trust restrictions compared with the older regional versions, and players are seeing an auction pending stage before some listings become visible. However, NCSoft has not documented an exact universal pending timer or publicly explained every check performed during this stage.

For that reason, I would treat Listing Pending as a processing state rather than a countdown. If the listing eventually moves into the normal Market without intervention, there is nothing else you need to do.

Listing Pending: Item has not fully entered the active Market yet
Active listing: Item is currently available for another player to buy
Pending collection: Market transaction has finished but something still needs to be collected
Settlement: Sale proceeds are waiting to be claimed

What Should You Do if Your Listing Is Pending?

The first thing I would do is wait rather than repeatedly changing the listing. There is currently no confirmed Global timer that lets us say every item will clear Listing Pending after a specific number of minutes.

While waiting, check that you are looking at the correct Market section and that the item has not already moved into another state. AION 2 separates active listings, items that need to be collected, and sale settlements instead of keeping the entire transaction on one screen.

If the listing remains pending for an unusually long period, relogging is a reasonable way to rule out the Market interface simply failing to refresh. If the item is still missing from every relevant Market tab after that, then it becomes more reasonable to treat it as an actual issue rather than normal processing.

Do not assume the item should return directly to your Cube just because you cannot see it on the first Market screen you open.

If Your AION 2 Market Item Looks Like It Disappeared

Check the tabs in the upper-left portion of the Market before contacting support.

Players have already mistaken an item moving between Market states for the item disappearing completely. In one case, a player listed a Kina Chest for Quna, returned later, could not find the Chest in inventory or see anything to settle, and believed the item had vanished. The problem was simply that they were looking at the wrong Market tab.

That creates a useful troubleshooting order:

1. Check your active/listed items
2. Check anything awaiting retrieval or collection
3. Check Settlements for completed sales
4. Relog if the UI still appears out of sync
5. Contact support only if the item is missing from every Market state

This distinction matters because once you register an item, it is normal for it to stop appearing in your normal inventory while the Market controls the transaction.

Listing Pending Is Not the Same as a Pending Settlement

A completed sale does not immediately mean the Kina is sitting in your normal balance.

Sold Market items move into the Settlements side of the Market, where you claim the proceeds. The Global Market also has daily settlement restrictions, so there are situations where a sale is complete but the proceeds cannot all be collected immediately.

NCSoft's own server-transfer requirements make this distinction especially clear. They separately recognize items that are still registered for sale, items pending collection, and transactions where the proceeds have not yet been received.

So if your item is no longer listed, do not immediately conclude that Listing Pending ate it. It may have progressed farther through the transaction than the screen you are currently checking.

If you need the broader Market setup, our AION 2 trading guide covers how Global trading works and why the Market matters more with direct player-to-player trading restricted.

Listing Pending and Pending Quna Are Two Different Things

This is probably the most important distinction if you are selling Kina Chests through the Quna Exchange.

Listing Pending refers to the listing itself. Pending Quna is an actual currency state after Quna enters the anti-abuse holding system.

Global's Pending Quna tooltip states that it changes into Paid Quna after a designated waiting period of 72 hours. While Pending Quna is being held, it has restrictions on where it can be spent.

That 72-hour timer should therefore not be automatically applied to every Market item that says Listing Pending. They are separate systems.

Listing Pending: Status of the item being placed on the Market
Pending Quna: Currency waiting to become normal Paid Quna
Pending Quna timer: Up to 72 hours
Confirmed Listing Pending timer: No universal timer currently published

This is also why seeing somebody mention a three-day wait for Quna does not necessarily answer how long your actual item listing will remain pending.

Why Does AION 2 Have These Market Holds?

Global's economy has several extra restrictions designed to make botting, RMT, and suspicious currency transfers harder.

The game uses an account Trust system that can affect Market-related limits, including settlement limits and how Pending Quna is handled. NCSoft has also disabled unrestricted direct player-to-player trading on Global, pushing legitimate transactions through systems it can track more easily.

That gives the Market more stages than simply "list item → someone buys item → money instantly appears."

What we cannot confirm is that every individual Listing Pending message is specifically caused by Trust Level. The systems clearly overlap around Global's anti-abuse economy, but NCSoft has not published enough detail to claim that a particular Trust threshold determines the pending time for every listing.

Pending Market Listings Can Block a Server Transfer

There is another reason to clear Market activity rather than ignoring it: AION 2's server-transfer service checks whether your Market transactions are fully resolved.

NCSoft says you cannot proceed with a transfer while you have items registered for sale, items pending collection, or sales whose proceeds have not yet been received.

That means simply removing your active listings may not be enough. Before transferring, go through the entire Market transaction chain and make sure there is nothing still waiting in collection or settlement.

When Should You Contact AION 2 Support?

A Listing Pending message by itself is not enough to assume something has gone wrong.

I would start worrying when the item remains unresolved well beyond a normal play session, cannot be found in any listing or collection tab, does not appear in Settlements, and does not return after relogging.

At that point, take screenshots of the Market tabs, the item name and quantity, your character and server, and approximately when you listed it before submitting a support ticket. That gives support something concrete to trace instead of only reporting that an item disappeared.

The key is to identify which stage has failed. "Listing Pending," "waiting for settlement," and "missing item" may look similar from the player's side, but they are not the same Market state.
