Graveyard Keeper 2 Polished Bronze: How to Unlock & Craft
Polished Bronze is one of those materials Graveyard Keeper 2 doesn't make a big deal of until suddenly every blueprint in your workshop seems to want it, because right around the time you start expanding your stations, the Writing Desk, Furnace II, and a handful of other upgrades all start asking for a piece or two. You won't be able to make any until you've pushed the Plague Doctor's story far enough to reach the laboratory, bought the Bronze Polishing technology, and set up your Woodworking Workbench with the right extension.

Craft Polished Bronze at a Woodworking Workbench
Once Bronze Polishing is unlocked, you can craft Polished Bronze at either Woodworking Workbench I or Woodworking Workbench II, with each craft turning 2 Bronze Detail, 2 Sand, and 1 Melted Fat into 2 Polished Bronze. The recipe also needs a Tool Rack extension sitting beside the workbench, which is the detail most people miss the first time they try to make it.

If the recipe isn't showing up at all, you're almost certainly not missing an ingredient so much as you haven't reached the point in the story where the game hands it to you.
Push the Plague Doctor Story and Unlock Bronze Polishing
Bronze Polishing is locked behind the Plague Doctor's questline, and more specifically behind getting into the laboratory, so keep following his quests until the lab opens up and then head into the tech tree to buy Bronze Polishing from its branch, since reaching the lab on its own won't give you the recipe.
This is worth knowing up front because it's easy to burn a lot of time on the wrong thing here, and if your Writing Desk blueprint is asking for Polished Bronze while none of your stations list the recipe, you're better off skipping the search through every workbench you own and going straight back to the Plague Doctor's story.

The Recipe Produces Two at a Time
Since every batch gives you two pieces, it's worth doing a little math before you start queuing up crafts, especially because most of the early construction recipes only want one or two Polished Bronze and a single batch will often cover a smaller station or upgrade on its own.
Keep in mind that the recipe uses Bronze Detail rather than raw Bronze Ingots, so I'd always keep a few processed bronze components set aside instead of turning every ingot into Nails and other parts, because running dry on Bronze Detail right when you finally have Melted Fat on hand is a frustrating way to get stuck.
Melted Fat Is Usually What Holds You Up
Bronze Detail and Sand won't give you much trouble once your basic crafting setup is running, but Melted Fat comes out of the laboratory's production chain rather than your regular workshop, which makes it the ingredient that tends to stall you out even after the recipe itself is unlocked.
If you already have Bronze Polishing but can't find any Melted Fat, there's no other bronze technology you've missed, and what you actually need is a working lab with the distiller going and a Distillation Cube built. You Also Need a Tool Rack Beside the Workbench
Unlocking Bronze Polishing doesn't automatically make the recipe usable at every Woodworking Workbench you own, because it also requires the Tool Rack extension placed right next to the workbench you're crafting at, so if you've got the tech but still can't make anything, that's the first thing I'd check.
If the Tool Rack is in place and the recipe still won't cooperate, take a look at your tools and overall crafting capability, since upgrading your tools is the next thing I'd try before assuming something bigger is missing.

Save Your First Few Pieces for Key Stations
Polished Bronze ends up in a surprising number of recipes, but I'd put your first few batches toward permanent stations like Woodworking Workbench II, Furnace II, the Weaving Loom, the Sewing Table, Monument II, the Writing Desk, the Formulation Bench, and Embalming Table I before spending any of it on optional gear.
The Writing Desk and Formulation Bench are the ones I'd grab first, because they only need a single Polished Bronze each, which is cheap compared to the stations that want two or three, and both open up entirely new systems for you to work with.
Once your core stations are taken care of, you'll also find Polished Bronze in gear and tool recipes like the Bronze tools, the Amateur Rod, Copper Trinkets, and the Starter Alchemist's Kit, all of which are worth making when you have some to spare.

I like to keep at least two or three Polished Bronze in reserve whenever I'm opening up new work areas, since it shows up in so many station blueprints that spending your whole stack on tools is a quick way to hit a wall the moment you want to build something new.
The Full Route to Polished Bronze
If you're starting from scratch, follow the Plague Doctor's quests until the laboratory opens, buy Bronze Polishing, set up a Tool Rack next to your Woodworking Workbench, and you'll be ready to start crafting.
From there, you'll be turning Bronze Detail, Sand, and Melted Fat into Polished Bronze two pieces at a time, and I'd put those first batches into the workstation upgrades that open new systems before treating it as an everyday crafting material.
