Graveyard Keeper 2 Supply Iron: Recipe & Delivery Guide
Supply: Iron is a Town order in Graveyard Keeper 2 that sends you through the full shipment process: accept the order, craft the requested iron crates, deliver them to the Warehouse basement, then return when the collection cycle is ready. You can make the crate manually at a Woodworking Workbench or later use Factory Assembly Benches, giving you two different ways to handle repeat orders.

Craft the Crate and Deliver It to the Warehouse Basement
To complete Supply: Iron, accept the order from the Warehouse order board, craft the required Supply: Iron crate, and carry it into the Warehouse basement.
The crate does not go into a normal storage container. Place it on the dedicated delivery pile in the basement, identified by players as the pile of crates covered by a tarp. Once the shipment registers, check the order board to make sure the required amount has been credited.

Verify the shipment counter on the board
Return for the collection cycle and claim the order
I would always check the board immediately after dropping off the crate. If the shipment counter changes, you know the delivery itself registered and you are only waiting on collection rather than trying to troubleshoot the recipe or drop-off point.
Supply: Iron Uses Iron Ingots, Boards, and Bronze Nails
The standard Supply: Iron recipe is made at Woodworking Workbench I and requires:

Result: 1 Supply: Iron
The recipe requires the Iron Forge technology and Building Mastery 4. It is also available at Woodworking Workbench II later on.
The Workbench I craft takes 8 ticks at 1 Energy per tick and awards 2 red technology points.

Use the Tarp-Covered Crate Pile in the Basement
Carry each Supply: Iron crate downstairs inside the Warehouse and place it on the dedicated shipment pile.
Player reports identify the correct interaction point as the crate stack in the upper-left area of the basement. Ordinary Warehouse storage does not count toward the order.
This matters because the crate itself is a Town supply item rather than something you hand directly to Jack or another NPC. Talking to the associated character does not replace the Warehouse shipment process.
If you are carrying the box but cannot progress, walk around the basement crate stacks until you find the shipment interaction rather than trying different storage containers.
Deliver Before the Collection Day When Possible
Supply orders operate on a repeating collection cycle rather than completing the instant the box touches the delivery pile.
The supplied order guide identifies the sun-symbol day as the Warehouse order day. Launch-period players also refer to the relevant collection window by its calendar color, so I would follow the actual symbol shown for your active Warehouse order rather than relying on the weekday name alone.
More importantly, get the crate into the basement before collection day whenever possible. Players who delivered on the collection day itself reported having to wait another cycle before they could claim the shipment.
A player who had already deposited the Iron Supply and had the board showing completion was told to wait until the next weekly collection, which resolved the apparent stall.
Factory Assembly Benches Give You a Second Recipe
Once your Factory is developed, Supply: Iron can also be made at Assembly Bench I.
That recipe trades the mixed-material Workbench recipe for a much simpler input:

Result: 1 Supply: Iron
Assembly Bench I only requires Building Mastery 2 for this recipe. The craft takes 10 ticks at 2 Energy per tick and awards 1 red technology point. Assembly Bench II and III can also make Supply: Iron.
This gives the order a useful progression split. The Woodworking Workbench recipe saves two Iron Ingots but also consumes Boards and Bronze Nails. The Factory recipe uses more iron but cuts out the extra materials entirely.
If you already have a strong automated iron supply, I would lean toward the Assembly Bench route for repeat orders simply because the input chain is cleaner. The Graveyard Keeper 2 Factory guide covers the underground production system and Assembly Bench progression in more detail.
Supply: Iron Is Used for Jack's Town Orders
Supply: Iron is used in Jack's Town order chain.
The initial order is listed as awarding 20 Likes, increasing to 25 with the Happy Supplier bonus. A later repeatable Jack level 2 order awards 10 Likes, or 15 with Happy Supplier.
That makes Iron Supply more than a one-time progression box. Once repeat orders open, it becomes another way to turn your production chain into Likes.

Check the Delivery Counter Before Assuming the Order Is Stuck
If Supply: Iron will not complete, the state of the Warehouse board tells you where to look next.
If the counter did not increase
Make sure you used the basement shipment pile rather than normal storage.
If the counter shows the full shipment
Your delivery registered. Wait for the next collection window and check the board again.
If you delivered on collection day
The shipment may roll into the following cycle.
If the order resolved but related progression did not
Check your remaining Town, district, and combat objectives before assuming the order itself failed.
The Supply: Iron crate has a stack size of 1 and is not purchased by traders, so there is little reason to make extras unless you already know another order is coming. For repeat shipments, I would craft to the active board requirement instead of filling inventory with spare crates.
