Rich Growth Elixir becomes part of Graveyard Keeper 2's higher-tier farming progression, feeding directly into the stronger fertilizer recipes at the Formulation Bench. Like most alchemy crafts, there isn't one fixed ingredient recipe to memorize; what matters is producing the exact rune combination the elixir requires.

Combine 1 Red and 3 Green Runes to Make Rich Growth Elixir
Rich Growth Elixir requires an exact alchemy total of 1 red rune and 3 green runes. There are no blue runes in the formula.
You can craft it in either Laboratory I or Laboratory II once you've unlocked the Fertilizers III technology.

The important part is matching the runes rather than finding one specific pair of ingredients. Graveyard Keeper 2 has 218 valid ingredient combinations for Rich Growth Elixir, including both two-ingredient and three-ingredient mixes.

Use Berry + Beeswax or Coal + Berry for Simple Two-Ingredient Recipes
You don't need three different ingredients to make Rich Growth Elixir. There are 53 valid two-ingredient combinations, and several use materials you'll already be handling elsewhere.
Some of the cleanest recipes are:

• Berry + Beeswax
• Leaf + Beeswax
• Water + Beeswax
• Coal + Berry
• Coal + Leaf
• Water + Coal
• Swamp Mushroom + Tooth
For example, Berry contributes 1 green rune while Beeswax contributes 1 red and 2 green, giving you the exact 1 red + 3 green total.
Coal works the same way from the opposite direction: Coal already provides 1 red and 2 green, so adding a simple 1-green ingredient such as Berry, Leaf, or Water completes the formula.
My preference is to use a two-ingredient recipe whenever I can. There are plenty of valid three-item mixes, but adding another ingredient usually gives you more inventory management without improving the resulting elixir.
Rich Growth Elixir Unlocks With Fertilizers III
Having the right ingredients isn't enough on its own. The Rich Growth Elixir formula is locked behind the Fertilizers III technology.
Until that technology is unlocked, throwing the correct rune combination into your Laboratory isn't the progression shortcut it may appear to be.
If you're already experimenting heavily with Alchemy but the elixir still isn't available, check your farming and fertilizer technology progression before changing ingredients.
If Rich Growth Elixir Isn't Available
• Check that Fertilizers III is unlocked
• Use Laboratory I or Laboratory II
• Make sure the ingredients total exactly 1 red and 3 green
• Avoid adding blue runes to the formula
Think in Runes Instead of Memorizing One Recipe
Rich Growth Elixir is a good example of why Graveyard Keeper 2's alchemy system is easier to manage once you stop thinking in fixed recipes.
The game accepts any valid ingredient combination that reaches the same rune total. That means Berry + Beeswax and Water + Coal can create the same result even though the ingredients themselves look unrelated.
There are 165 valid three-ingredient combinations as well. Examples include Berry + Berry + Tooth, Clay + Berry + Swamp Mushroom, and Leaf + Berry + Tooth.

• Leaf + Berry + Tooth
I wouldn't try to memorize all 218 combinations. Learn which ingredients in your normal storage give useful rune totals, then assemble the 1 red + 3 green requirement from whatever you have in abundance.

Rich Growth Elixir Is Used for Tier II Fertilizers
Rich Growth Elixir ultimately feeds back into farming rather than being a potion you carry around for a temporary character buff.
It is required at the Formulation Bench for both Headstart Fertilizer II and Farming Fertilizer II.
Rich Growth Elixir Uses
• Headstart Fertilizer II: 1 Rich Growth Elixir per craft
• Farming Fertilizer II: 1 Rich Growth Elixir per craft
That makes it less of a one-off Alchemy discovery and more of a production ingredient once your farming setup reaches the higher fertilizer tiers.
If I know I'm about to start producing Tier II fertilizer regularly, I'd settle on one cheap two-ingredient formula and keep those ingredients stocked rather than improvising a different alchemy mix every time.
Craft It for Fertilizer Before Treating It as a Sale Item
Rich Growth Elixir has a listed sale value of 3 Silver and can be sold to the Alchemist from Trader Level 2 under normal stock conditions.
That sounds attractive, but I wouldn't make selling it the priority while you're still building out your farming progression.
Both Tier II fertilizer recipes consume Rich Growth Elixir, and converting useful alchemy ingredients into an elixir only to sell it can leave you having to remake the same material later when you actually need fertilizer.
Once your farming needs are covered and you have a reliable surplus of cheap rune ingredients, the 3 Silver sale value gives excess elixirs another use.
For normal progression, though, the simplest approach is to unlock Fertilizers III, pick an efficient 1-red + 3-green recipe such as Berry + Beeswax or Coal + Berry, and keep Rich Growth Elixir available for your Tier II fertilizer production rather than treating it as a rare standalone potion.
