Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 tracks your kills, deaths, and overall Multiplayer performance, but finding those numbers requires opening the right menu. Whether you want to see how many kills you've earned, check your K/D ratio, or review your most-used weapons, MW4 keeps these records within your Career statistics. Here's how to check your kills and find the information you're looking for.

How to Check Kills in MW4
To check your kills in MW4, open the Career menu from the main screen and select Multiplayer Stats. This section contains your Multiplayer combat records, including your kill/death ratio, recent match results, and weapon performance.
- Launch MW4 and open the main menu.
- Select Career in the upper-left corner of the screen.
- Navigate to Multiplayer Stats.
- Review your combat statistics and recent match performance to check your kills and K/D.
If you're checking your performance after a particular match, use the recent match statistics rather than your overall K/D. Your lifetime ratio combines your results across many matches, so even a game with an unusually high number of eliminations may only change it slightly.
The Multiplayer Stats screen also displays your win/loss ratio and other performance records. You don't need to enter a match or use an external tracking website to access these statistics.
How to Check Weapon Kills in MW4
To review your weapon performance, open Career and select Multiplayer Stats. MW4 displays statistics for your top three weapons, giving you a way to see which guns you've used most successfully.
If you're looking for kills needed to complete a particular camo challenge, open the Challenges menu instead. This tracks your progress toward weapon camo objectives, including challenges that require specific types of eliminations.
You can also open Create-a-Class, select a gun, and enter Gunsmith → Progression to view its Weapon Level and unlock milestones. However, this screen primarily tracks weapon progression rather than serving as a complete history of your Multiplayer kills.
For players working toward Weapon Prestige, our MW4 How to Prestige Weapons guide explains the progression requirements and rewards available after reaching a weapon's maximum level.
Why Aren't My Kills Updating in MW4?
If your kills or K/D ratio haven't changed after completing a Multiplayer match, the game may still be synchronizing your statistics. This can happen when servers are busy, particularly during the launch period.
Return to the main menu and reopen Career → Multiplayer Stats to check whether your results have updated. If they haven't, close MW4 completely and relaunch it before checking again.
Make sure you're viewing Multiplayer Stats rather than DMZ progression, since the game separates records for its different modes. You should also verify that you're signed into the Activision account you normally play on.
For most players, the Career menu is the only place needed to review Multiplayer kills and overall performance. Use Multiplayer Stats for combat records, Challenges for camo-specific kill requirements, and Gunsmith Progression when you're checking how close a weapon is to its next unlock.
