Here’s how to sell a bond in RuneScape 3:

1. Make the Bond Tradeable

  • By default, Bonds are untradeable. To sell them, you need to make them tradeable by converting them.

  • Open your inventory, right-click on the Bond, and select "Convert."

  • This will cost a small fee of in-game gold to make the Bond tradeable.

2. Sell the Bond

You have two main options:

Grand Exchange (GE)

  • Location: Visit the Grand Exchange in Varrock.

  • Open the Grand Exchange interface and select "Sell."

  • Place the Bond in the sell slot and set your price. Check current prices to decide how much to charge.

  • Confirm the sale and wait for it to sell. You can collect the gold once the transaction is complete.

Player-to-Player Trade

  • Find a buyer through public chat, forums, or social media.

  • Agree on a price and meet in-game.

  • Trade the Bond directly with the other player. Make sure you both confirm the trade window to avoid mistakes.

    • This will avoid paying the grand exchange tax

3. Collect Your Payment

  • If sold through the GE: Collect your gold from the Grand Exchange interface.

  • If sold to a player: The gold or items should appear in your inventory after the trade.

Tips for Selling Bonds

  • Check prices often: Bond prices can change daily. Look at market trends to sell at the best price (currently at record highs as of the writing of this article)

  • Sell during Double XP events: Demand for Bonds goes up during special events when players use them to buy Membership or Treasure Hunter keys.

  • Avoid scams: Be careful when trading directly with players. Always double-check the trade window before confirming.
