Over the Hill How to Get The Cumbre
The Cumbre is a 2,000 kg wagon in Over the Hill that does not come from a random vehicle rescue. It is tied to a specific Challenge Trail in the Aurès Mountains, so getting it is a matter of finding the right event and completing the run rather than searching the wilderness for the vehicle itself.

How to Get The Cumbre in Over the Hill
To unlock The Cumbre, travel to the Aurès Mountains and complete the Jazira Ascent Challenge Trail. The Cumbre is the first-completion vehicle reward for the trail, so finishing Jazira Ascent permanently adds the wagon to your available vehicles.
Jazira Ascent has 27 checkpoints, making this a Challenge Trail unlock rather than one of the abandoned vehicles you recover with a winch and return to a save point.
If you are still figuring out how the different vehicle unlock methods work, our Over the Hill How to Unlock New Cars guide explains the difference between Challenge Trail rewards, rescues, and the other ways your garage expands.
Where to Find Jazira Ascent
Jazira Ascent is located in the Aurès Mountains. Open the in-game map once you are in the region and look for the Challenge Trail named Jazira Ascent, then travel to its trail gate to start the run.
The important thing is to search for the trail name rather than The Cumbre itself. The vehicle is awarded for completing the challenge, so there is no separate Cumbre sitting somewhere in the region that needs to be recovered first.
The Aurès Mountains area is enough to narrow down the correct part of the map, although an exact turn-by-turn trail route has not been reliably established from the information currently available. Follow the in-game Challenge Trail markers once the event begins rather than relying on an unverified shortcut or trailhead coordinate.
How to Prepare for Jazira Ascent
You do not need a specific vehicle or upgrade setup to unlock The Cumbre, but it is worth taking a car you already know how to control before starting a 27-checkpoint trail.
Keep Low Range in mind whenever the route becomes steep or rough. Lower gearing gives you more controlled wheel torque and is generally more useful on difficult climbs than simply carrying speed into an obstacle.
A winch is also worth having ready before you begin. If a bad line leaves the vehicle stranded on a slope or against uneven terrain, recovering immediately is usually faster than repeatedly trying to power out of the same position.
Bringing a jack or repair kit gives you another safety net if the route goes badly, while approaching unfamiliar obstacles slowly gives you time to choose a line before committing the vehicle's weight to it.

What You Get for Finishing Jazira Ascent
Your first completion of Jazira Ascent unlocks The Cumbre and includes 40 Pebbles in the recorded first-completion reward.
The vehicle itself is the main reason to seek the trail out. The Cumbre is a 2,000 kg wagon with two forward gears, a 33-degree steering angle, 0.50 meters of suspension travel, and 0.44-meter wheels.
Its engine starts at 125 Nm of peak torque and can be upgraded to 138 Nm at Stage 2 and 151 Nm at Stage 3. The final engine upgrade also raises its speed limit from 28.8 km/h to 36 km/h.
That puts The Cumbre between the game's lighter technical vehicles and its much heavier work trucks, giving it a different role from something like the 2,800 kg Blast Wagon or the 3,200 kg Mammoth and Marshal.
Is The Cumbre Worth Unlocking?
Yes, especially if you want a middleweight vehicle that does not commit as heavily to either extreme of the roster. At 2,000 kg, The Cumbre is substantially lighter than the game's heavy trucks while still carrying more mass than the smallest off-road cars.
Its 33-degree steering angle also gives it more maneuverability than many of the heavier options, while 0.50 meters of suspension travel gives it useful room to work over uneven terrain. The tradeoff is that its maximum 151 Nm of torque is well below the output available from the largest trucks.
That makes The Cumbre more attractive when you want a balanced platform rather than maximum pulling power. It has enough size and suspension to tackle rough routes without feeling as cumbersome as the heaviest vehicles, and its upgrades give it room to improve once you decide it is worth investing Pebbles into.
